A solicitor is someone who practices law, representing individuals in court or in conducting legal processes such as conveyancing and negotiating with other solicitors. Solicitors and barristers are both types of lawyer. Some countries recognise a difference between them, others do not. This career tends to have salaries in the range £25-100k (based on research in the UK). Typically, therefore, it has a very high earnings potential.
