This page lists possible ENFP careers: professional occupations that may be most suited to those with ENFP preferences.
There are two lists, both of which are based on our own research that identifies careers where ENFP's preferred team roles (or "dominant and auxiliary functions" in Jung/Myers Briggs terminology) are used extensively.
For more information about the lists, see our careers list information page.
The mandala (below right) represents where the preferences of ENFP lie, based on the MTR-i team roles. For a full explanation, see our mandala page.
List No 1
The careers that, in our research, made most use of ENFP's preferred function include:
- Counsellor
- Marketing specialist
- Human Resources
- Nurse
- Psychologist
- Trainer
- Artist/actor
- Designer
- Teacher
- Clergy/church worker
List No 2

The careers highlighted in bold, above, appear in both lists. It is possible, therefore, that those occupations have a closer fit to those with ENFP preferences (matching both dominant and auxiliary functions, and not just one).
