This page lists possible ISTJ careers: professional careers that may be most suited to those with ISTJ preferences.
There are two lists, both of which are based on our own research that identifies careers where ISTJ's preferred team roles (or "dominant and auxiliary functions" in Jung/Myers Briggs terminology) are used extensively.

The careers highlighted in bold, above, appear in both lists. It is possible, therefore, that those careers have a closer fit to those with ISTJ preferences (matching both dominant and auxiliary functions, and not just one).
