ISTP Careers: A List of Professional Jobs

This page lists possible ISTP careers: professional careers that may be most suited to those with ISTP preferences.

There are two lists, both of which are based on our own research that identifies careers where ISTP's preferred team roles (or "dominant and auxiliary functions" in Jung/Myers Briggs terminology) are used extensively.

The careers highlighted in bold, above, appear in both lists. It is possible, therefore, that those careers have a closer fit to those with ISTP preferences (matching both dominant and auxiliary functions, and not just one).
