Rating 6/6

I love the wide variety of contacts, and the fact that I have a lot of time to spend with people, to form relationships that will support and help them. I also love the fact that as a chaplain, it is my job to have deep, meaningful conversations with others about life, the universe and everything! (Chaplain - INFP)

Rating 5/6

Like: Choir members are faithful and supportive. Dislike: Clergy are not demanding enough of staff members, which discourages any other staff members from being hard working and conscientious. (Church Musician - ESTJ)

I have a lot of freedom to work with people and create new ideas for how to minister to my students (I teach English and Bible classes) and to my church and community. I dislike the number of relationships that I need to maintain to do my job well, and often feel like I could do better working with fewer people. (Short Term Missionary - INFJ)

too much detail; too many conflicting opinions and prefernces (Senior Pastor - INFP)

Managing volunteers (Youth Minister - INFP)

don’t enjoy details (Senior Pastor)

Rating 4/6

I don’t feel that I do enough to change the circumstances of others. (Elementary Ministry Coordinator - ENFJ)

sometimes creativity can be hindered by immediate need, and I can become easily emotionally drained by constantly attending to people in need (Chaplain - INFP)

All the paperwork and followup analyses!!! Not being able to interact with people enough because of the paperwork or organizing I focus on for projects and programs. (Full-Time Youth Director at a African-American Church - ISTP)

I enjoy the people I work with. I enjoy building relationships with co-workers and customers. I do not like the repetitive nature of my work. I would prefer to have work that is project-driven rather than time-driven. (cafe assistant)

Strict organization (chaplain)

Rating 3/6

I like builiding relationships with people and seeing their lives change. (Director of Youth Ministry - ENFP)

I manager the finances the college ministry I work for as well as help in the planning of events both large and small. (Finance Manager for a College Ministry - INTJ)

I dislike working with people who are so disparate in musical ability, most of them not being musical at all, musch less competent. (organist/choirmaster)

Rating 2/6

working on my own (Curate - ENFJ)

Public resolution of conflicts, necessity to be the center of the community social circle, fielding frequent criticism and complaint (Priest - INFJ)

Having to appear ‘fake’ or rund things, to run things, to make people happy. (Clergy - INFP)

loss of faith, imploding church, clergy spread too thinly and oversstretched (priest - INFP)
